A little update...

Some questions were asked, I have tried to answer them in the pattern-post, but here is some more info:

The afghan will be made of 5x7 blocks, resulting in a afghan of 115cm x 161 cm (exc, edging). So we need 35 blocks.
One block has a yardage of 71m (out of a 90m skein). Maybe we can use the leftovers for the edging, but we are still working on that.

Up untill now about 15 of us have signed up for on or more blocks. We have assistance for about 20 blocks now, so we are a bit short on blockers. Some have offered to strip (LOL) for the UK and USA, so we're getting close on that :).

Meanwhile I am working on a small database, a spreadsheet to be filled with a form, so we can keep the administration a bit easier than it is right now. Nearly done, so maybe in the upcoming days you will be asked to check your info in the database.

Thank you all for you positive and motivating reactions, it gives a warm feeling to know that this project meets so much enthousiam!
