If you are here then you received the information about the afghan we are making Destiknit and her not yet born baby. Below are a few reminders.

The yarn we have chosen is Rowan All Seasons Cotton Printed. It is available online in the US at WEBs:

The color chosen is #161, Slash. It is a prettier color than what is shown, a greenish-blue color. We have ordered a small quantity for those of you who are not able to find this yarn in your area or online that can be shipped to you in a timely manner. Please let one of us know right away if you need yarn and we will get it to you as soon as it arrives. It won't be a full skein but it will be enough to make 1 block. Edit: Since we are sending full skeins instead of partial of skeins, the cost will be $4.50 per skein US and Canada. This includes postage.

23st Feb: deadline for reply - letting us know if you will participate
28th Feb: deadline for reply - letting us know if you need yarn and if you can be a stripper or the finisher
29th Feb: we will send out yarn to those who need it
20th March: deadline for sending blocks to the very special strippers
20th April: deadline for sending strips to the extra special stripper
15th May: deadline to send afghan to fabulous finishing mistress
10th June: afghan shipping to Destiknit
It may take a month then to reach her, her delivery date should be around July 10-20.
If this project works out fine and we all like the idea, we can make some plans to stockpile blocks for different special occasions, babies, marriage, 50th wedding anniversaries, etc!!!
