Above you see schematic blocks, the diagional stripe should be in your blocks to. In one strip, the diagonals will all be pointing in the same direction.
So, with RS op top, you either strip all block with the diagonal to the left, or all to the right.
Five blocks make one strip. Seven strips make one afghan :)
Please use the matress stitch to sew the blocks together.
At this moment I do not have the overview how many blocks will be send to each of the strippers. To keep things simple, let's devide the lefts and the rights.
Twigletqueen and Jinann and Yesiknit will make the strips with the diagonal pointing to the left-upper-corner, Fibers and I will make the strips to the right-upper-corner.
If you receive not enough blocks to make a complete strip, no worries. Sew the blocks together and pass the strip(s) on to Fibers (for the US, Jinann and Yesiknit could send them to Fibers) or to me (EU-Twigletqueen).
The edging comes from LA and will be attached after the afghan is completed.
To keep a historic file, please take a picture of the striping and send it to me, I will post it in the blog. That we (and especially Destiknit) can enjoy the process of
creating this present.
